After Horst’s workshop Gerda had a few extra days to stay over in Ireland before flying home to South Africa on Sunday so I invited her to stay at Clasheen for a couple of days, boy did we have some fun felting and dying Horst style!!! It’s going to take me about a week to finally unwind after all the excitment of the last few weeks but for now check out the sleeveless vest I felted and dyed with gold and pumpkin acid dyes in my kitchen. It’s great to finally have a HUGE dye pot and the confidence to actually try some experiments out for myself! ‘Till tomorrow …..

Very styling, I love the vest in both white and orange…and the sweet honeysuckle vine..ours are just out…
The sleeveless vest is beautiful and the colour is divine!
OMG, Nicola–That color is fabulous!! I’m surprised that you chose ‘my’ color, rather than ‘yours’!! Giggle.
Please post photos of you wearing it in it’s new shade!! XXO-
Beautiful , glorious colours and I can ‘smell’ the honeysuckle
Simply Marvelous!! So are you a dyer now?
Wow!!! I love your sleeveless vest and fantastic dye work…The color is great…And, yes, I thought of Heather right away;-) She does have a way of rubbing off on us, doesn’t she? Ha! Ha!
Hope you’re having a restful day…I’m sure that after all of the excitement, that you need some time to unwind.
Hugs,
Dawn
That is fabulous.
Love the vest …the colour is superb, as well as the shape.
[...] Clasheen has a long day with surprises; does a quick update; photographs happy faces after a workshop; more photographs from the workshop and plays with dye [...]
The color is stunning! Have a great time in Denmark.
